Aircraft manufacturer Airbus plans to ramp up production of some of its largest aircraft models, the A350 and A330neo, following increasing demand for long-haul travel.

This is reported by the Wall Street Journal, which refers to sources with insight.

Earlier on Tuesday, Airbus announced a large order from Air India for a total of 250 aircraft, including 40 of the wide-body A350 model.

According to the sources, Airbus may make the data public this week.
