Airbus is considering moving production of the A330 neo model to China to enable business in the country, which has the world's fastest growing aviation market.

This is reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.

If Airbus moves manufacturing to China, it will mean the aircraft manufacturer is expanding in the country. The company already has an assembly plant in Tianjin.

Airbus has also previously considered moving production of its A380 jumbo jet model to the country, but the proposal was scrapped after the company concluded that demand in the country was too low.

The smaller A330 neo model is considered better suited to China's aviation market, according to the news agency's sources.
