French aircraft giant Airbus has urged airlines that have older A380s in their fleets to check them for cracks in the wings, writes Bloomberg. Airbus shares fall 0.3 percent.

Cracks have been found in connection with older A380 aircraft being serviced, which could affect the durability of the wings if not addressed, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has said.

Seven years ago, Airbus was forced to spend millions of euros on service and repairs after a similar problem arose on the A380. 

At 11 a.m., Airbus shares are down 0.1 percent after reversing an earlier rise on Tuesday.
