MGR Foamtex has announced that its antimicrobial MGRSafewall product protection system containing the antimicrobial technology Biomaster from Addmaster, a wholly owned subsidiary of Polygiene, has been successfully tested against the coronavirus.

This is stated in a press release.

”The aviation industry is actively working to adapt to the new normal as people will be able to fly frequently again. MGR Foamtex is one of several new partners supplying antimicrobial materials for aircraft seats, upholstery and interiors to make the aircraft cabin as safe as possible. This is an area where Polygiene and Addmaster’s antimicrobial solutions will add value and act as a second line of defense in addition to regular cleaning, and we expect increased demand for this type of functionality going forward,” says Ulrika Björk, CEO of Polygiene.
