A Belgian aircraft en route to Bromma Airport in Stockholm had to turn around due to an engine failure, according to TT, citing the Belgian aviation site Aviation 24.
The plane, belonging to Brussels Airlines, took off from Zaventem in Brussels this morning and encountered problems 45 minutes into the flight.
The cause was a fault in one of the engines.
After circling over Antwerp, the pilot decided to turn back.
The emergency services were put on alert at Brussels Airport.
The plane landed safely.
