The British low-cost airline Easyjet plans to carry out a private placement that will raise between 400 and 450 million pounds, equivalent to up to 5.2 billion kronor.
In a press release, the company writes that it will issue a maximum of just over 59 million new shares, which corresponds to 15 percent of the company's existing share capital.
As of June 22, Easyjet had approximately £2.4 billion in liquidity. The company resumed some flights on June 15 after its entire fleet was grounded for eleven weeks.
