London City Airport, a smaller airport in the British capital, will reopen after a World War II bomb was removed.
The unexploded bomb was found Sunday morning and the airport was closed that evening. The airport will be open as usual on Tuesday, said airport director Robert Sinclair.
The bomb was found in the River Thames next to the airport. It has been towed along the river to a safe location and will now be destroyed in a controlled detonation, according to the military.
