AJet, formerly AnadoluJet, is now establishing itself at Stockholm Arlanda Airport by launching a new direct route to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). From 2 June, the new route will operate daily, further strengthening the connections between Sweden and the Turkish capital.

From 2 June, AJet will operate a direct route daily to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) from Stockholm Arlanda. AJet, the low-cost airline owned by Turkish Airlines, operates both international and domestic destinations from its hub at Sabiha Gökçen Airport in Istanbul, which is located in the Asian part of the transcontinental city.

– I am very pleased to welcome AJet to Stockholm Arlanda Airport. AJet's investment clearly shows that there is a continued strong demand for international travel to and from the Swedish market. The new direct route further strengthens accessibility to Turkey, as well as to other well-established markets in the region. Swedavia's mission is to increase accessibility and enable people to meet, whether for business, leisure, or to visit family and friends, and AJet plays an important role in this, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales at Swedavia.

We are delighted to announce that AJet, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, will launch its inaugural flights between Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) and Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) starting June 2nd. This new direct route marks a significant milestone in our strategic expansion, offering travellers an affordable and reliable option for their air travel needs. We are committed to maintaining both punctuality and the highest safety standards, says Kerem Sarp, CEO of AJet.

According to the press release.
