Norway now advises against non-essential travel to the Kalmar region. The advice is in effect from midnight until Saturday, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs writes in a press release.
This means that all regions in Sweden are red-listed. Anyone traveling to Norway from Sweden must undergo a ten-day quarantine.
The Norwegian Foreign Ministry has previously advised against travel to a number of other countries. All of Europe outside the Nordic region is marked red on the Norwegian infection map. Travel is only permitted to a few regions in Finland and to Greenland.
