The Swedish Transport Administration has decided to award the Swedish airline Amapola Flyg traffic to Stockholm / Arlanda from Hemavan, Lycksele and Vilhelmina.

Amapola Flyg intends to operate Hemavan via Kramfors (the Kramfors – Arlanda line is not state-procured).

Traffic on the routes will start on July 1. The four routes have been without air traffic since May 16 when the airline NextJet filed for bankruptcy.

The Swedish Transport Administration is currently also procuring traffic from Arvidsjaur and Gällivare to Stockholm/Arlanda.

Traffic on these two lines is expected to start in mid-September.

Amapola Flyg currently flies mail/cargo and passenger traffic (for the airline BRA and the flight operator Sparrow Aviation).
