Romanian airline AnimaWings will establish itself at Stockholm Arlanda Airport by launching a direct route to Bucharest. Starting from 2 March, the new route will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. AnimaWings was launched in 2020 and is a modern, dynamic airline, offering its passengers high-quality and memorable flight experiences. The new route will be a significant addition to Stockholm Arlanda's overall offering and will further strengthen connections to Romania and Southeastern Europe.
– AnimaWing's investment in a new direct route from Stockholm Arlanda Airport clearly shows that there is a continued high demand for international travel. Swedavia's main goal is to increase accessibility and make it easier for people to meet, whether for business, leisure or to visit family and friends, and the new route will play an important role in this, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales at Swedavia.
– We are proud to launch this new route to Stockholm Arlanda Airport. This addition to our network reflects our commitment to offering different types of travel while ensuring a high standard of comfort and service. Stockholm is a vibrant destination, and we are convinced that this route will improve connections and promote cultural and economic exchange between Romania and Sweden. We are very much looking forward to welcoming passengers on board and being part of their journey to create memorable experiences, says Marius Pandel, co-founder of AnimaWings.
Starting March 2, 2025, AnimaWings will operate Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) – Bucharest (OTP) twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, with an A220 aircraft that has a capacity of 137 passengers, of which 12 seats are business class with a dedicated cabin and crew.
