Swedavia appoints Anna Strömwall as new Airport Director for Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and new member of Swedavia's Group Management.

Following approval from the Swedish Transport Agency, she will take up the position during February.

Anna Strömwall currently works as the head of Swedavia Konsult and has many years of experience in management roles within the transport and logistics industry, including as Planning Manager for Scandinavia's largest container port, APM Terminals, and head of security control at Arlanda.

"I am very pleased that Anna Strömvall is now taking up her position as the new Airport Director for Gothenburg Landvetter Airport. Her solid industry experience and leadership will be an asset in the development of Gothenburg Landvetter Airport as western Sweden's international airport and as one of the world's most climate-smart airports," says Jonas Abrahamsson, CEO and Group Chief Executive of Swedavia.

– It feels incredibly fun and exciting to have the opportunity to, together with all the competent and dedicated employees at the airport, continue to develop Göteborg Landvetter Airport in the same positive direction we are currently heading, says Anna Strömwall, incoming Airport Director for Göteborg Landvetter Airport.

Anna Strömwall will succeed Charlotte Ljunggren, who has been the director of Landvetter Airport since 2012. Charlotte Ljunggren will now take up a new position as Director of Market and Commercial Development for Swedavia's ten airports and will remain a member of Swedavia's group management.
