Gröna Lund has long wanted to expand its amusement park on Djurgården, which the Land and Environmental Court of Appeal will allow.
In their ruling, they write that "The Land and Environmental Court of Appeal has held that the building rights granted by the detailed plan mean a permitted addition to buildings within the National City Park and that no damage will occur.".
In the spring of 2020, Gröna Lund first received permission from the City of Stockholm to expand the amusement park.
A year later, the Land and Environmental Court put a stop to the plans after residents and associations in the surrounding area complained, but now they have changed the previous ruling.
