The American Delta Airlines is next in line to lower its forecast for the third quarter, citing higher costs.

Higher costs, including for jet fuel, are causing Delta Airlines to lower its profit forecast for the third quarter, writes CNBC.

Delta Airlines now expects adjusted earnings per share in the range of $1.85-$2.05. The previous forecast was adjusted earnings per share between $2.20-$2.50.

A number of airlines have lowered their forecasts recently, most recently American Airline on Wednesday.
