Apollo is now launching an additional 11 new concept hotels. Since Apollo introduced its first hotel concept under the umbrella brand Apollo Mondo in 2014, demand has increased significantly. Today, the tour operator offers 82 concept hotels spread across seven categories – developed in close collaboration with local hotel owners and based on guests' own wishes and feedback.
– Apollo Mondo are the products we are most proud of, says Martina Krantz, press officer at Apollo.
And the pride is well-deserved: over 40 percent of Apollo's guests stay at an Apollo Mondo hotel, and these receive the highest customer satisfaction ratings – with an average of 8.6. One of the biggest successes is the Apollo Mondo Local hotel Maria on Lesvos, which boasts an incredible 9.8.
Major investment for summer 2026
It is therefore no coincidence that Apollo is now expanding its investment in its own concept hotels. For summer 2026, 11 new hotels will be launched, spread across six of the concepts.
Under Apollo Mondo Duo, for adults seeking relaxed quality time, Alkyna in Corfu and Enetiko in Parga are available – two hotels with very different styles but the same focus on experiences. The former is a modern resort with a perfect beach location, while the latter offers a genuine atmosphere and views over the whole town of Parga.
Apollo Mondo Boutique is also growing, with Perigiali Seaside Resort located directly on the beach in Lefkas. At the same time, a brand-new hotel is under development in Rhodes.
– In Rhodes, together with the hotel owner, we are developing the Apollo Mondo Family flagship Mythos Beach, which is our best-known and most popular family hotel. There is no better proof of quality, says Krantz.
Unique and urban – to new destinations
The Apollo Mondo Local hotel concept, however, is closest to the tour operator's DNA. It's about small, authentic, and often family-run hotels where you can truly see, feel, taste, and smell where in the world you are. Apollo is expanding its portfolio here with three new hotels – two on the Greek mainland and one on Zakynthos.
In addition, the first concept hotels are being launched in Majorca and on the Costa del Sol: an Apollo Mondo Urban hotel in the heart of Palma, and a unique Apollo Mondo One of a Kind hotel on the Costa del Sol, combining Andalusian charm with modern comfort.
