Traffic at Arlanda has been at very low levels during the pandemic and there have been few travelers. But now traffic is starting to increase again and travelers are returning to flying.

Swedavia, which owns and operates Arlanda, has therefore decided to open Terminal 2 from the end of October, writes Dagens Nyheter. During the pandemic, all traffic has been from Terminal 5.

– As the world opens up and restrictions are eased, both in Sweden and elsewhere, we are seeing travel returning. But we are still far from normal, says Robert Pletzin, press manager at Swedavia, to the newspaper.
