Around 17 million passengers flew with Ryanair in August

The airline Ryanair had 16.9 million passengers in August 2022, an increase of 52 percent compared to August 2021. The cabin factor increased by 14 percentage points to 96 percent.

This is evident from the airline's traffic report on Friday morning.

In the rolling twelve months to August 2022, passenger numbers increased by 236 percent to 148 million passengers. The cabin load factor during this period was 89 percent, compared to 75 percent in the corresponding period a year earlier.
