Asbestos in Skavsta control tower – flights rerouted

Skavsta Airport in Nyköping is closed after asbestos was found in the air traffic control tower.

While the decontamination is underway, no flights can land or take off, and flights have had to be rerouted to Arlanda. 

The airport is expected to reopen at 13:00 on Friday.
