The Civil Aviation Administration, in collaboration with the Swedish Transport Administration, invites you to take part in current research and trends in transport automation. With the help of automation, we can increase capacity and availability in the airspace, while at the same time achieving reduced climate impact.
Our goal is to together increase cost-efficiency and better understand risks in new technology, where the interaction between humans and automation is a critical success factor.
On November 16, we will bring together researchers from Linköping University and experts from the Civil Aviation Administration, the Swedish Transport Administration and the Swedish Maritime Administration for an interactive exhibition and demonstrations of international and national projects.

Examples of projects that you can take part in during Automation Days 2023:
- AiRMOUR develops, demonstrates and enables drone services focused on emergency medical care and healthcare in cities.
- QT-PIE is a driving assessment tool that uses eye tracking and artificial intelligence to objectively measure a driver's driving performance.
- Project Virtual Reality uses the latest technology to create a realistic virtual environment to practice emergency response, in this case an aircraft that experiences smoke in the cabin during approach.
- Trafikverket Labs is an innovation platform. We will see and discuss various so-called "Proof of Concepts" in areas such as virtual reality, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
