Wednesday, May 1st, marks the premiere of Norwegian's direct flight to Palma on Mallorca from Stockholm Skavsta Airport.

Spain is a very popular travel destination and Mallorca is a long-awaited summer destination that fits perfectly into our range, says Kjell-Åke Westin, Chairman of the Board of Stockholm Skavsta Airport.

– We are pleased that yet another new route from Stockholm Skavsta Airport has started and we are grateful for the great reception we have received since we started operating at the airport last year. The new route to Mallorca means that we now fly to three popular destinations in Spain during the summer months and we look forward to welcoming travelers on board, says Norwegian's Commercial Director Magnus Thome Maursund.

On May 1st at 8:05 PM, the first plane will take off for Palma, Mallorca. The first passengers will be treated to some festivities before departure.

Three destinations in Spain

Norwegian already flies year-round to Alicante and Malaga on the Spanish mainland. Palma will be their third destination from Stockholm Skavsta Airport.
