EU finance ministers decided on Tuesday to put Anguilla, the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands on the EU's blacklist of tax havens.

This was announced by the press service of the Council of Ministers.

The blacklist applies to non-cooperative jurisdictions that do not cooperate on tax matters or that cooperate but have not implemented promised reforms in the fight against tax evasion in a timely manner.

There are already nine jurisdictions on the blacklist: US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Fiji, Guam, Palau, Panama, Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago, and Vanuatu.
