Baltic Princess, which operates the Stockholm – Turku route, has undergone modernization since the beginning of 2018, at the Remontowa shipyard in Poland.

She will now return to service on 8 March 2018, departing from Turku. The first departure from Värtaterminalen, Stockholm will be on 9 March. A large number of visual changes for passengers have been carried out, as well as extensive technical work, the largest of which is two new reduction gears in the ship's engine room.

– ”The replacement of the two reduction gears was a huge job. However, the precise and time-consuming task was necessary to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the ship. Now the magnificent and modernized Baltic Princess is back in service, and I wish all passengers a welcome aboard,” says Juha Rossi, Master of Baltic Princess
