After the pandemic, many companies want to bring employees together again. From January to September this year, the increase is a whopping 33 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
One consequence of the pandemic was that companies' kick-offs and other types of joint activities had to be canceled. But now in 2022, on the contrary, there is a boom for boat charters. Stromma has an increase of 33 percent so far this year compared to before the pandemic in 2019.
"There seems to be a need to do things together again. Many have probably been sitting at home and barely seeing their colleagues for two years. Going on joint experiences is a way to get new energy. We also don't see any signs that companies are being cautious given the economic situation, many want to invest in their employees," says Peter Henricson, Head of Sweden at Stromma.
