Since it opened a year ago, Kulturhuset Bergsjön has had 116,000 visitors and an average of one event a day. "A fantastic first year," says unit manager Emma Makkonen, and now invites you to a packed 1-year party when the new square on the site is also inaugurated. 

Kulturhuset Bergsjön is for the residents of Bergsjö and all other Gothenburgers. With a library, studios, exhibition hall, study spaces and group rooms, it offers the opportunity to both take part in and create culture yourself.

And with over 110,000 visits, 12,000 people who have participated in one of the events, and with just over one event a day, it can be said that Kulturhuset Bergsjön has delivered during its first year.

Time to celebrate!
– It has been a fantastic first year, absolutely magical. The expectations were high, almost difficult to live up to. But we have been met with so much love and appreciation. It has been a privilege to work here, says unit manager Emma Makkonen.

So it's time to celebrate with a 1-year anniversary party. On Sunday, August 20, the cultural center and the new square outside will be filled with lots of exciting events for both young and old.
