At the turn of the year, Best Western Hotels & Resorts will take over Scandic Skogshöjd in Södertälje. In connection with the change of chain, major investments are planned to further enhance the guest experience at the hotel.

After an uncertain future, it is now clear that the hotel will continue to operate as a hotel – under new management as Best Western Plus Skogshöjd. With the takeover at the turn of the year, there will be major investments to further enhance the quality, and Best Western Hotels & Resorts looks forward to once again presenting the hotel as part of the group.

It is a nice hotel but needs to be reviewed and significant resources will be invested in order to be able to offer our guests good and appealing accommodation. Skogshöjd was actually our first Best Western hotel in Sweden and the fact that it is now coming back to us of course feels a little extra fun," says Johan Michelson, CEO of BWH Hotels.

The hotel offers good facilities whether you are travelling with your family, privately or for those travelling on business. The hotel's 6 floors accommodate 225 rooms with everything from single rooms to family rooms and has many inviting social areas. If you wish to hold a conference, there are 23 meeting rooms with a capacity for up to 360 people. The hotel also invites you to relax and in the relaxation area there is a swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna as well as a well-equipped gym.

The hotel will transition to Best Western Plus Skogshöjd at the turn of the year 2023/2024.
