Travel group Tui reports an interim report for the third quarter of the 2023/24 financial year that beats expectations.
The most important performance measure, adjusted operating profit, came in at 231.9 million euros, beating Bloomberg's analyst consensus of 212.8 million.
Revenue rose 9.5 percent to 5.79 billion euros, compared with expectations of 5.73.
Net profit was 52.4 million euros, more than doubling from last year's 22.6 million euros.
Tui writes that demand has been strong for the summer with bookings up 6 percent. Overall, they have sold 88 percent of all their travel programs. Bookings for the winter are described as promising.
Johan Svensson's full-year forecasts, which means revenue growth of at least 10 percent and an adjusted operating margin of at least 25 percent.
