Birka Cruises' long-haul cruise season begins with a two-day cruise to the High Coast.
Yesterday, May 28th, it was time for the first of this year's five cruises to the World Heritage Site, arriving in Härnösand on May 29th at 8:30 am.
This summer, the shipping company is expanding the popular cruises to the High Coast from four to five. On the morning of May 29, residents and visitors can see the 177-meter-long ship M/S Birka Stockholm in the fairway for the first time this year.
The shipping company's CEO Satu Andersson is on the premiere cruise:
– I have finally managed to snag a place on the High Coast, one of our most popular long-distance cruises. In addition to looking forward to all the taste experiences and activities on board, I am excited to meet the creativity and development that is simmering up there, says Satu Andersson.
Satu Andersson will participate in the sneak premiere of the New Joint Library together with Mikael Damberg, Minister of Enterprise and Innovation, financier Olof Stenhammar and Anders Fällström, President of Mid Sweden University, and County Governor Berit Högman.
