The US aviation authority (FAA) has given the go-ahead for an inspection process that means Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft can be permitted to fly again. The type was recently grounded following a high-profile incident.
It was on January 5th that a door plug detached and an emergency exit door came loose on an Alaska Airlines plane over the state of Oregon, leaving a large hole in the plane at an altitude of 5,000 metres.
The pilots managed to land the plane without anyone being injured.
