Boeing takes large order for 100 aircraft

Aviation giant Boeing receives a new order for 100 737 Max aircraft from VietJet.

This is stated in a press release.

This is a letter of intent signed in connection with the Farnborough Airshow which is currently underway.

The Vietnamese low-cost carrier will become the largest Max 10 customer in Asia when the deal is completed. The contract value is over $12.7 billion, according to the press release.

As part of the agreement, Boeing will work with VietJet to enhance the company's technical expertise and train pilots and technicians in Vietnam. It also states that the 737 Max is the best-selling plane in Boeing's history.
