A fire broke out just before midnight in a space at Terminal 5 at Arlanda.

The emergency services responded to extinguish the fire and were still at the scene at 1 am, ventilating the smoke.

– A room under the terminal near baggage reclaim was on fire. The fire was extinguished after half an hour, says a control room operator at the rescue service.

Several readers have told Aftonbladet that they were directed to terminal 4 without being able to collect their bags.

”Full of smoke in the baggage hall. Everything stinks of fire,” writes one of them.
