Airline owner IAG, which includes British Airways in its portfolio, reports revenue of 6.5 billion euros (3.5) in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Revenues of 6.3 billion euros were expected, according to consensus estimates from S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Operating profit came in at EUR 486 million (278), against expectations of EUR 465 million.

For 2023, IAG forecasts adjusted operating profit to be in the range of €1.8-2.3 billion. This assumes that no new Covid outbreaks or geopolitical developments hinder operations.
