British Airways has begun canceling flights on September 27th, as another strike by the airline's pilots has been announced.

The company offers affected travelers full compensation or rebooking to a new date, to a new destination or with another airline.

Exactly how many flights are affected is not stated in British Airways' statement.

Earlier this week, Monday-Tuesday, British Airways was forced to cancel 1,700 flights from London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports as a result of a two-day pilot strike. The day after that strike, over 300 aircraft and 700 pilots were in the wrong place when the strike was called off.

According to the pilots' union, Balpa, the pilot strike is costing the airline around 40 million pounds (approximately 480 million SEK) per day.

The pilots are demanding higher wages and a profit-sharing program.
