Camp Järvsö expands – hires new hotel manager

Camp Järvsö's new hotel manager, Johan Persson, has ten years of experience in the hotel and conference industry – and even longer experience in elite sports at the national team level. In other words, he is perfectly suited for the sporty destination of Camp Järvsö.

– For me, it's about building a team that does the job together, so that Camp Järvsö can deliver the best customer experience, says Johan Persson.
A year ago, Springtime Group AB opened Camp Järvsö – a conference, training, and experience facility just outside Järvsö in Hälsingland. This was done together with four of Sweden's leading training and health personalities: Carolina and Patrik Klüft, as well as Cecilia Gustafsson and Peppe Lindholm.

– The focus during the first year has been on enabling people to experience simplicity and wonderful experiences that provide energy and reduce stress, in strengthening natural environments that offer both movement and stillness. Now it's time to take the next step and further sharpen the organisation around Camp Järvsö, says Patrik Yderberg, CEO of Springtime Group.

This is achieved by hiring Johan Persson as Hotel and Resort Manager. Johan has worked in the hotel and conference industry for the past ten years, and even more years as a coach and leader within Sweden's elite and national basketball operations.

– We are very pleased that we managed to recruit Johan Persson. He has enormous experience in building winning teams and will lead the work to ensure that Camp Järvsö continues to deliver a premium experience – where the guest is always the focus, says Patrik Yderberg, CEO of Springtime Group.

"I'm really pumped and happy to have the opportunity to help drive the business forward. Camp Järvsö is a magical place. With strong owners, a strong board of directors and awesome employees, the possibilities are endless," says Johan Persson.

Springtime Group has 40 years of experience working with training and health, both within the travel industry and the media sector. Furthermore, training, health, and experiences are a niche that continues to grow enormously – and for that reason, the launch of Camp Järvsö in 2021 was a natural next step.

– An incredible amount has happened during Camp Järvsö's first year, and there are big visions and goals, which feels exciting and fun. I hope that with my experience from the hotel industry and elite sports, I can contribute to creating a winning culture – a culture that enables us to achieve these visions and goals. For me, it's about building a team that works together, so that Camp Järvsö can deliver the best customer experience, says Johan Persson.

Johan's ambition is to create the world's best workplace, something he believes is the absolute prerequisite for all guests to experience Camp Järvsö in the very best way.

– Camp Järvsö should be a place where you recharge your batteries and want to return to again and again – both as a guest and a member of staff. That is my big goal, concludes Johan Persson, the new hotel and resort manager at Camp Järvsö.
