Caroline Åstrand new CEO of MTR Subway

Caroline Åstrand has been recruited as the new CEO of MTR Subway, which is part of MTR Nordic Group. Caroline Åstrand will take up the role on August 1.

Caroline Åstrand most recently comes from SJ AB and the role of Senior Vice President of the product division, where she had overall profitability responsibility for the company's procured business and traffic lines and was part of SJ's group management. Caroline Åstrand has spent a total of 10 years at SJ and has during her time been involved in many major change and development projects to improve SJ's business in both long-distance trains and regional traffic. 

– In addition to solid industry experience, Caroline has extensive knowledge of how to conduct successful tendering work. I am convinced that MTR Subway, under Caroline's leadership, will continue the journey of success that we are all so proud of and I very much look forward to welcoming her to us, says Mark Jensen, CEO MTR Nordic.
