Several travelers at Arlanda have reportedly missed their flights after problems with Ryanair's check-in, reports Aftonbladet.

Several travelers missed their flights from Arlanda on Wednesday morning after problems with check-in.

According to reports, the disruptions occurred at Ryanair check-in, where queues were long and waiting times were extensive. Up to 200 people are said to have missed one of the flights, according to a traveler who Aftonbladet been in contact with.

Several passengers managed to get through security and on to the gate, but still did not board. In some cases, passengers were transported all the way out to the aircraft without being allowed to board.

There were also reports of a tense atmosphere at the airport during the morning. Security guards and police had to be called in to deal with the situation at the terminal.

Swedavia confirms that Ryanair had a disruption in its check-in system this morning.

Travelers who have questions about their trip are recommended to contact their airline, writes Arlanda Airport Manager Karl Eklund in an email to Aftonbladet.
