The Transport union announced on Monday that it would take industrial action, including against aviation.

"There has been a halt in negotiations regarding cabin crew," Transport Chairman Tommy Wreeth told Echo. 

The parties do not agree on, among other things, the right to weekend rest and the number of working hours per week.

In a first step, the notice applies to an overtime blockade from May 21. If no agreement is reached, it will continue with point strikes on scheduled flights from May 26 - and charter flights from May 31.
