China has lifted a month-long ban on deliveries of aircraft from US-based Boeing, Bloomberg reports, citing sources. The decision follows an agreement this weekend between China and the United States to pause, with significantly lower tariff levels, the soaring tariffs between the world's two largest economies for 90 days.

The news agency refers to messages to Chinese airlines from representatives of Chinese authorities that they can resume imports of aircraft from Boeing.

The task is a potentially big boost for Boeing, which previously had a plan for deliveries of about 50 aircraft to Chinese airlines this year.

Boeing was also pleased last week with the news that British Airways, as part of the trade agreement between the US and the UK, had committed to purchasing 32 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners.
