Mauritius gives the Norwegian cruise ship Norwegian Dawn the green light to dock in the capital Port Louis, reports the BBC.
The ship was initially denied entry to land due to suspicions of a possible cholera outbreak.
At least 15 of the 2,000 passengers are said to have shown symptoms of stomach illness after a trip to South Africa, but after tests the alarm has now been sounded.
Since January 2023, at least 188,000 people across seven countries in southern Africa have fallen ill with cholera, according to the UN. More than 3,000 people have died.
