Christer Mellstrand has been appointed as the new museum director at Spritmuseum, succeeding Ingrid Leffler. Christer most recently comes from SVT where he has worked as marketing director since 2015.

– I have been given a fantastically enjoyable assignment where I have the opportunity to use my previous experience of public service. Spritmuseum is an obvious meeting place for Swedish drinking culture and I look forward to continuing to develop and manage the museum's unique heritage together with the employees and the industry, says Christer Mellstrand.

“Christer is a multifaceted person with experience in both public service and the commercial arena, and also has a solid political background. This makes him a very good fit as museum director at Spritmuseum.
