Starting on August 22, Christina Steer will become Visit Sweden's Head of Travel Trade, responsible for the company's foreign travel industry relations.

  • I am very happy that Christina will lead our international Travel Trade team as through her we will gain a very competent colleague with extensive and important experience in international marketing and promotion of companies and businesses, says Visit Sweden's CEO Susanne Andersson.

Christina most recently came from a role as Marketing Manager Scandinavia, Finland & Baltic States at Qatar Airways but has previously also held various roles in marketing at both Lufthansa and Lufthansa Cargo.

As Head of Travel Trade at Visit Sweden, Christina will lead an international team of five people, stationed in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, the USA and China.

Travel Trade at Vist Sweden involves processing and servicing the international travel industry that is interested in Sweden as a destination.

  • "It feels fantastic to have been entrusted with this position. For me, who chose to move to Sweden from Germany more than 15 years ago, it is extra special to market Sweden as a holiday destination in different parts of the world," says Christina Steer.

Christina will be part of the Brand & Marketing department and report to Tina Olsson and Nils Persson, both of whom are Chief Marketing Officers at Visit Sweden.
