Clarion Hotel® Sign is opening a new rooftop bar on the eighth floor in collaboration with Orrefors and Kosta Boda. The new bar will be called Hidden Gem and is a design collaboration to celebrate Swedish design and craftsmanship above the Stockholm skyline.

Orrefors Kosta Boda and Clarion Hotel® Sign have created a unique gin bar with a glass theme. The main attraction is the glass bar on the eighth floor, as well as an installation in the form of a modern glass wind chime that decorates the ceiling.

– The collaboration with Clarion Hotel Sign has been both exciting and important for Orrefors Kosta Boda, given that we have together had a unique opportunity to create a physical imprint in an inspiring environment right in the middle of Stockholm city, says Torsten Jansson, CEO of New Wave Group, which owns Orrefors and Kosta Boda. We look forward to the inauguration on June 12th and a continued rewarding collaboration.

The menu features open-faced sandwiches with a nod to Scandinavian flavours, as well as a classic cheese and charcuterie board. The signature drinks are composed with Kosta Gin as a base, with each drink served in a unique glass signed by Lena Bergström. Her iconic Carat glassware series from Orrefors is not just a series of glasses, but a work of art in itself. The Carat series' distinctive cuts capture the light, creating a magical atmosphere, a tribute to Swedish glass art.

– We are incredibly proud and happy about the collaboration with Orrefors & Kosta Boda and to together inaugurate the Stockholmers' new watering hole this summer on the eighth floor. At Clarion Hotel Sign, we have always celebrated Scandinavian design in everything we do, and to now join forces with a truly iconic brand like Orrefors & Kosta Boda to create a bar together feels like a perfect match, says David Viklund, hotel manager at Clarion Hotel® Sign.

According to the press release.
