The hotel and restaurant complex Gyllene Uttern south of Gränna and Mullsjö conference and outdoor hotel have been declared bankrupt, reports Jönköpings-Posten.
The Corona pandemic has hit the business hard, which has also been affected by the sudden death of the previous owner and the companies are burdened with debt, writes the newspaper, which on March 11 wrote that the union filed for bankruptcy.
There are hopes of being able to sell the business and there are interested parties, according to bankruptcy trustee Mats Aronsson.
Gyllene Uttern started as a roadside tavern in the 1930s and the location with a view of Lake Vättern has become a popular rest stop.
