Climate activists are carrying out an action at Bromma Airport in Stockholm, police say. The activists have, among other things, glued themselves to the airport terminal and climbed onto the roof.

An entrance has also been blocked.

– This has resulted in the airport opening another entrance instead, police spokesman Daniel Wikdahl tells TT.

Between 50-70 people are reported to be participating in the action, which has been going on since 4 p.m.

Police say that air traffic was not affected by any delays as a result of the incident.

By 6:15 p.m., the police had turned away the vast majority of the activists.

– There will be a lot of reports. Those who were on the roof have been reported for trespassing, then we have several suspects for disobeying security guards, says Daniel WIkdahl.
