Coldest January night in 25 years

During the morning, SMHI measured the coldest January night in 25 years in Kvikkjokk. 

“The temperature has continued to fall,” says SMHI meteorologist Mattias Lind. 

The temperature was measured at minus 43.6 degrees.

At six stations it has been minus 40 degrees. 

– It's really cold. So you have to be careful, says Mattias Lind.
