– Today's announcement means that domestic flights will now be concentrated at Arlanda, which in the long term will create the conditions for smoother domestic travel with better transfer options. At the same time, Bromma will in principle be without scheduled traffic, says Jonas Abrahamsson, Swedavia's President and CEO, and continues:

– We will now adapt our operations at the airport based on the new traffic structure. This will be carried out in close dialogue with the employees affected by the change. Bromma is an efficient and well-run airport that is appreciated by many travelers. But it is no secret that capacity utilization at Bromma has been too low for many years. Consolidating air traffic at Arlanda is a natural development. This changes the conditions for the operation of Bromma and raises the political question of the airport's future.
