The airline Lufthansa raises its profit and cash flow forecast for 2022 and reports preliminary figures for the third quarter. This is according to a press release.
In the third quarter, adjusted operating profit amounted to approximately EUR 1.1 billion (0.3). Revenues were provisionally EUR 10.1 billion in the third quarter (5.2).
Based on the positive development in the third quarter, the current booking situation and the expectation of another record result for Lufthansa Cargo in 2022, Lufthansa now expects an adjusted operating profit of over EUR 1 billion for the full year. The previous forecast was an adjusted EBIT result of over EUR 0.5 billion.
Adjusted free cash flow is expected to be over EUR 2 billion for 2022.
