The crisis-stricken aircraft manufacturer Boeing wants to raise $25 billion, equivalent to around SEK 260 billion.
Last week, Boeing announced that it would cut 10 percent of its workforce, which represents 17,000 employees worldwide.
At the same time, a strike has been going on at the company since September 13, affecting around 33,000 employees. The parties recently announced that negotiations have broken down.
Boeing has warned that the strike will mean major closures. The new capital will, among other things, help the company get through the strike.
