Croatia's national airline is expanding at Stockholm Arlanda Airport ahead of the summer of 2024, launching a new direct route to Zagreb. Croatia Airlines, a member of Star Alliance, will operate the new route three times a week, helping to further connect the Swedish capital with Croatia.
Croatia Airlines continues its expansion in Sweden and at Swedavia's Stockholm Arlanda Airport by launching a direct route to the new destination Zagreb. The new route to the Croatian capital is a welcome addition to Arlanda's range of destinations and will further strengthen connections to the country from Stockholm.
– It is very pleasing that Croatia Airlines is now expanding its offering at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Swedavia's purpose is to enable people to meet, whether for business, leisure or to visit family and friends, and Croatia Airlines plays an important role in this, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales at Swedavia. Croatia is a very popular destination for several reasons and it is therefore welcome to be able to add Zagreb to the total offering from our airport, she says.
– I believe that many Swedes will appreciate the new, and fastest, connection with Croatia and that our flights on the Stockholm – Zagreb route will make more people choose to explore Croatia's nature, rich culture and history. In our effort to make our new route as accessible as possible to as many passengers as possible, we are offering round-trip flight tickets at a promotional price for a period of time, says Slaven Žabo, Director of the Commercial Division at Croatia Airlines.
Starting on May 20, the Stockholm Arlanda Airport – Zagreb (ZAG) route will be operated three times a week with an A319 aircraft.
