Following an official tender procedure, the Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB) has appointed AVIAREPS as its pan-European PR agency for the third time. AVIAREPS will be responsible for CNTB’s PR activities in 13 European markets: Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Austria and the United Kingdom.

AVIAREPS is a global leader in tourism, aviation and hospitality. The company has 65 offices in 59 countries around the world and has extensive experience in marketing destinations. CNTB began its partnership with AVIAREPS in 2021. The appointment of AVIAREPS as CNTB's PR agency once again confirms the successful cooperation between the two businesses and demonstrates a strong commitment to the development of Croatia's tourism industry.

AVIAREPS’ team of tourism experts in local markets will spread the word about Croatia’s diverse tourism products and experiences, including its stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage and beautiful natural landscapes. In addition, AVIAREPS will highlight Croatia’s efforts to support sustainable and responsible tourism – an aspect that is becoming increasingly important to travelers.

Croatia's entry into the Schengen area and the introduction of the euro are seen as a major boost for the country's tourism industry. Travelers from the Schengen area can now enter the country without border controls, making it easier and more convenient for tourists to explore all that Croatia has to offer. In addition, the introduction of the euro will increase its attractiveness as one of the top tourist destinations in Europe. This latest development is an important milestone in Croatia's efforts to attract more visitors and position itself as a leading tourism destination in the region.

”We are pleased to continue our successful partnership with AVIAREPS and are confident that they will continue to help us promote Croatia as one of the best tourism countries in Europe. In 2022, 18.9 million tourists visited Croatia, resulting in 104.8 million overnight stays, a significant increase compared to 2021. We are confident that these figures will increase further in 2023, and we look forward to continuing to work with AVIAREPS, who have been a reliable partner for us over the past two years,” says Lucijana Natalija Jerković, Head of Global PR at the Croatian National Tourist Board.

”We are delighted to have once again been chosen by the Croatian National Tourist Board as their pan-European PR agency. We look forward to continuing to work with them to showcase Croatia’s incredible tourism offering to European travelers. With our large network of AVIAREPS offices across Europe, we ensure a coordinated PR strategy managed centrally from our hub in Munich. Croatia’s entry into the Schengen area and the introduction of the euro will have a major impact on tourism development and we look forward to supporting CNTB in its efforts to position Croatia as one of the top travel destinations in Europe,” says Thomas Drechsler, COO Tourism at AVIAREPS:
