Croatia continues to build its reputation as a top culinary destination and in the latest MICHELIN Guide, Krug (Split) and Cap Aureo (Rovinj) were awarded their first MICHELIN stars. Agli Amici (Rovinj) retained its two-star status, while 12 other restaurants across the country retained their one-star distinction.

Restaurants such as Dubravkin put, Pelegrini, 360º, Monte, Noel, Boškinac, LD Restaurant, Nebo, Alfred Keller and Korak are still among Croatia's best.

Three restaurants – Zinfandel's (Zagreb), Konoba Mate (Korčula) and Korak (Jastrebarsko) – retained their MICHELIN Green Star for sustainable gastronomy.

Two restaurants, Konoba Pescaria and K.užina, were added to the Bib Gourmand list, a recognition of high-quality, affordable dishes.

Special MICHELIN awards this year went to:

– Young chef: Gabriela Filca (Nebo)

– Service: Vera Korak (Korak)

– Sommelier: Dinko Lozica (LD Restaurant)

Tonči Glavina, Minister of Tourism and Sports, and Kristjan Staničić, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, hailed the award as a testament to Croatia's gastronomic development, creativity and commitment to authenticity and sustainability.
